I never thought i would be living in Southern California but about a year ago my job in NYC was to be relocated and instead i found a job here in Irvine. I had always wanted to move to CA so i took the plunge and here i am.

I traded in my metro card for a car just shy of my dream car, moved into a place twice the size of my apt in NY, and started wearing sunglasses and flip flops a lot more. Those were some great changes i enjoyed. I guess i would consider myself a typical New Yorker who has found that driving in SoCal could be more dangerous than some parts of New York. I have acclimated and like the fact that i can cruise at 85 and not have to worry about a cop pulling me over, i hope i didn't just jinx myself. The weather is probably the biggest difference for me and i love that i can play sports practically any day. I recently went skiing and wore my flip flops to the mountain. That was amazing and what i really like about this place.

At the moment; I'm working hard and keeping active as much as my time permits but I'm also looking to meet someone.

I believe Life is so beautiful, precious, and wonderful. It is all that I can hope to know and understand. I will love it, by embracing all that comes with it. Well, first off, I'm new to this whole online dating scene but so far it seems pretty interesting.

First off, thanks for taking the time to check me out. There is no way you can really get a complete sense of who I am from a few questions/statements about myself. In all honesty, MOST people completely misjudge me. They assume adjectives such as "player", "conceited", "typical", and "disingenuous". Nothing could be further from the truth. My self in a nutshell... I am a hard working individual who usually has more than one thing on my plate at all times. I'm finishing up school at Concordia University and plan on receiving my MBA in marketing. I like to keep a strong social life, and I don't mind trying new things... I studied fish for my masters and now I am an environmental consultant. I've only been in the OC for a couple of years now. I'm looking to make new friends and meet new people. Although I've been on dates with all races, I have only been in interracial relationships. A friend said that you are described not by what you do, but by what characteristics you possess. For better or worse, I ended up with a set of characteristics that resembles something like a golden retriever - hard-working, loyal, probably a bit dumber than the average guy. As my location no doubt indicates, it's sorta out of place in the land of plastic surgery and pretend smiles. I'll probably learn to fit in eventually, but in the meantime I'm here.

I am totally at a loss for how to summarize myself. I like quiet nights at home, long conversations, and nature. I'm honest to the point of being blunt. I'm a fairly interesting guy who strives to live a fairly interesting life. For the most part, I live a pretty ordinary life, studying, working out, and applying to grad school. However, outside of that, I like hanging out, trying new places, and having fun.

I'm a restaurant and food aficionado, which means that you won't find me eating at the same place or the same dish twice in the same week. I like to change it up, and keep my taste buds in suspense.

I have many activities that I enjoy part taking in, including cooking, fishing, archery, hiking, karaoke, billiards, and bowling. I'm a kinesthetic learner, so I'd rather be doing, than watching or listening. Though, I watch sports and shows like Man vs. Wild, so I can apply what I saw in real life.

I enjoy a diverse set of activities from hiking to being a 'Old Skool' Industrial DJ with notable love of cinema. I have been active in the Seattle Burning man community, but I'm currently taking a break. I've also been involved in local theater to a lesser extent as a technical consultant, set construction and infrastructure support.

Oh yea, the day job. I'm a computer programmer, at least when I can't avoid it. Actually I rather enjoy my career, most of the time at least.

To be honest I don't really know what I should write here. Not very good at describing myself, well at least without any prompting.

I guess i can come up with a couple things. I'm not super talkative guy, but I am a good listener and can conversate when necessary. People tend to open up to me fairly easily too. I'm usually pretty quiet but I'm pretty laid back so I think that contributes the quietness.
